The Guardian - now smaller September 20, 2005

I flew through Heathrow on the way home last week - and picked up a copy of The Guardian.

It’s shrunk. Not quite tabloid, certainly not broadsheet.

Turns out it’s a UKP145M facelift and the new size is called ‘Berliner’.

I like the new size and format in the main paper, but I’m not sure G2 works - it’s comic-sized and I feel the format detracts from the content a little. Might just take a bit of getting used to. First impressions of the main paper are good though.
